Tracking BBT: A "Pregnant" Chart
Back To Home Page
My Pages
This is a BBT chart from the site fertilityfriend.com. Using a site like this to enter you temperatures and signs of pregnancy is a great way to learn what your cycle is doing. The crosshairs show when you most likely ovulated. It won't 'predict' when you will ovulate, but rather confirms that you did ovulate. The prime time to BD (intercourse) is the week before you expect to ovulate. Notice how the pre ovulation temps are lower than the post ovulation temps. Estrogen (pre ovulation) is a 'cool' hormone. Progesterone takes over after ovulation (in the luteal phase) and is a 'warm' hormone. When pregnant, your temps stay above your pre ovulation line throughout. Thanks again to ArcticArlz for sharing these pictures!
Note how the OPKs pick up ovulation and the pregnancy that resulted!
Thanks again to DanahLovesDoug from IAP. This is her BBT from the cycle she ended with a lovely BFP. Notice the temperature shift indicating ovulation, even without EWCM, pregnancy was the result, so EWCM is not absolutely necessary for BFP success!
Thanks to RebecaandNoahsmama from i-am-pregnant.com for the pics of her pregnancy chart and her FRER positive test at 10 DPO!
****Duffy**** from i-am-pregnant.com is 'up the Duff'! Congrats and thanks for the pics! Here is why I LOVE this chart:
1. The cervical mucous changed from watery to eggwhite over the 5 days before ovulation - perfect for sperm survival!
2. Spotting just before ovulation - estrogen surged and dipped - this usually means a strong LH surge is about to happen, and there are mature follicles waiting!
3. A fantastic rise in temps from pre to post ovulation! NO doubt of ovulation day!
4. An implantation dip at 7 DPO.
5. Clomid can do the trick!
6. A BFP!!
Check out Duffy's BFP just 4 days later!! Nice!!
